Cuts seamed shrink sleeve into finished labels with point-break perforation — 50 – 600 pcs/min, label length 10 – 500 mm held to 0.2 mm.
The cutting machine takes the seamed sleeve and cuts it into finished labels, with point-break perforation. It handles PVC, PET, PETG and OPS shrink film, and is also used for slicing electronic, computer and optical film materials. Label length is set on the screen anywhere between 10 and 500 mm, and is held to within 0.2 mm.
The machine is controlled by PLC through a touch screen. Unwinding runs under a magnetic powder brake, while the main drive, the traction and the feed each have their own servo motor — that is what holds the cut length at speed. The cantilever layout lets one operator run the machine, and the unwind stops automatically when the material runs out.
It is the second machine of the shrink sleeve line, after the Shrink Sleeve Seaming & Gluing Machine.
