Three-layer ABA co-extrusion blown film for HDPE and LDPE from two extruders — up to 120 kg/h, film 1,000 mm wide.
A three-layer ABA co-extrusion blown film line for HDPE and LDPE. Two extruders make the three layers: one feeds the inner and outer skins, the other the core. Three layers from two extruders means one machine less, and less cost and energy. It makes film for T-shirt bags, supermarket flat bags, bags on roll, garbage bags, waterproof bags and protective film.
The core extruder takes recycled material and calcium carbonate, up to more than 70% of the total — which is where the line’s lower material cost comes from.
Both extruders have dual-alloy forced-feeding screws, hard and wear resistant, that plasticise at high speed and pressure and last 3 to 5 times as long as ordinary screws. The die is a three-layer cone-stacked die whose flow channels are polished and coated, so the melt keeps them clean: less waste when the material changes, and less downtime for maintenance. Feeding, batching and weight control are centralised on the touch screen.
